Amira Haniffa-Varga

I'm a London-based journalism student with Sri Lankan and Hungarian roots. My writing focuses on the wellness and beauty sectors, but I'm also passionate about representing both the mixed brown community and western-born individuals, particularly those of us who have battled with not feeling 'enough' in the social circles tied to our ethnic and national identities.

Hi, I'm April, a student journalist based in London with a passion for storytelling. As a proud Turkish/Kurdish woman, I value inclusivity and cultural representation in the media and strive to create stories that uplift underrepresented voices and celebrate the beauty of diversity.

I'm a second year Journalism student based in London. I am a 20 year old, Muslim woman of Indian ethnicity, and believe strongly in the power and importance of representation. I aim to create pieces that can move people emotionally, as well as softer, more entertaining news.
